-The Hotel Location...easy to reach the trem, metro, RER (connection). Surrounded by restaurants, cafe.......as tourist, we are happy and enjoy staying for almost 10 days in this hotel. The services is parfait ! Choose la chambre right in front of the street......now I miss the view, the activities of local people, on bus, trem and how we enjoy walking along the street of De Bruins. Will be back !
I liked the comfortable big bed, friendly staff, unique decorations and good size room for the price compared to others in Paris. The hotel is also right next to a metro stop that gets you all tourist spots within 20 minutes and it is a 15 minute walk to the train station (rer B).
The bathrooms are fair but look outdated, you have to give your key when you leave the hotel, and adding a plug outlet by the night stand would have been convenient. The location is far from most tourist spots but you can't fault them for that.
I was there with my best friend and I can say we very pleased. So nice and kind personal, easy to communicate with. Very helpful when we asked for some small services which we needed for a couple times. Location is not the center but the area was very clean and calm. Just one step from metro station Porte d Orleans. I could really recommend this hotel if you're not up to some fancy room and you're fine not to have a view to Eiffel. Cheers
It is a very nice attractive & modern well equipped hotel. The district has good shops and restaurants and is well served by transport links. The room was not all that large but more than adequate, with a good choice of tv channels including bbc 1 & 2, a mini bar (which we used as a fridge) plus Wifi. It included tea and coffee facilities and overall we really enjoyed our stay. For some reason or other we paid £129 for two nights excluding breakfast when I booked it in March. This was very good value considering the standard rate is 125 euros for one night. I would not consider it was worth that so make sure you get a good discount! Overall, for Paris, very good provided you can get a good price.
You had to ask for milk rather than it being provided. Bear in mind that it is a fair distance from the center - about 25 mins using the metro. Best to buy 10 tickets at 1.25 euros for any single journey within Zone 1 which includes this hotel.
I was attending a business trip to Clamart. Transportatin means of either going to Clamart or trip out to central Paris were fairly good with the Metro, Tram and bus just 1 minute away. Overall, the room was good, it was clean, including the room service was in order.
I would say the value for money is something to consider. I found that I can find a better hotel with the same comfort of transportation means with cheaper or equivalent price elsewhere.
Very close to Port'Orleans Subway. Also very close the a market store and a bakery. The staff was very nice and helpfull.
The room is small (but that's normal in Paris), but it is ok for a couple. Probably the price is a bit high, but again, everything in Paris cost more.
Kindness of all employees
The bed in the rooms did not provide good comfort. Also the handle of the showerheads in the bathroom is not installed high enough.
The decor was distinctive and interesting! It was very close to the metro station which was handy given it is not in the centre of Paris. Mathilde at the front desk was awesome. She really went above and beyond.
Nothing really. The safe in our room didn't work and the night desk guy didn't know how to fix it. That's about it.
I liked the location of the hotel. It was in easy reach of the Tram-lines and metro - both in front of hotel. The maids were lovely, but one reception staff was very unhelpful. However, all the other reception staff apart from this man were lovely. The gym equipment was broken. The hotel os definately 3 star standard, not 4 star, as advertised. Building works were going on whilst we stayed which were noisy and woke us up in the mornings.
(see above) Also, damp on the walls.
The staff was particularly helpful. We needed to have flights rearranged due to cancellations. One young lady at the desk made calls for us and managed to get us new flights, as well as arrange for us to extend our stay, which we probably would not have been able to do without her. She was spectacular! Room was spacious compared to others in Paris.
Internet service available but slow and awkward to use.
Excellent location near the Metro M4 and Tram. M4 is conveniently connecting the East Train Station and other main city destinations. The hotel is also close to the Exhibition Center and the Chinese district 13
Breakfast selection is too limited. The space for breakfast is also limited
The personnel was very friendly, the hotel was clean. Metro was close to it and there were short connections to Notre Dame and Tour Eiffel. Car was easy to leave in a garage next block. Free internet. A great choice!
So many things, it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, it was an absolute severe disappointment, we had no heat in our room which was freezing, there was a plug in electric heater but when we pit it in it smelled rotten, so we could not use it! The room no was 707 and was so small, I banged my head numbous time getting in and out of bed, it was an absolute let down to our whole trip!
lobby design is very nice indeed - would prefer to stay there :) location - though the hotel is not in the city-center, it is located just a few steps away from the tube station (approx. 15 seconds walk) and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the center (about 20 euros by taxi). the staff is very nice and helpful. right next to the hotel you can find car parking (though expensive - about 20 euros per night), an amazing Italian restaurant for dinners and a great cafe for drinks.
rooms - rather shabby, need renovation for sure. differ a lot from the lobby and from how it looks like on photos. bathroom is out-of-date either. although if go for an upgraded room, it is a bit better (partially renovated). breakfast - rather poor. and no variety at all. it is especially sad if you stay in the hotel longer than 3 nights.
